August 26 Sunday
Super 400
The groovy power pop trio from Albany NY pick up where the likes of Hendrix and Morrison left off. Super 400 mix thick bass grooves, mantra-like rhythms, and waves of distorted guitar work shaded in blues to create a sound that revives the best of a bygone era with a decidedly contemporary attitude. What the innovators of psychedelia did in the '60s has come back again as a vivid, modernized flashback.

August 27 Monday
The Billy Eli Band
Primetime slab of Texan barroom country delivered with a great hunk of flatbread and as much Lone Star as you can guzzle. Billy's music goes by a lot of names - Americana, roots rock, country rock, rockin' country, alternative country, alt-country - and there are probably some more names out there, too. Billy just calls it roadhouse beer joint music. Whatever you call it, it's the kind of music that's dirty, sweaty and covered in real life.

August 28 Tuesday
Bernie Clarke and the Rhythm Sharks
Start with a powerful, soulful vocalist. Back him with rhythm steadier than the Rock of Gibraltar. Add the twang of swingin' guitar and a hot honking harmonica straight from the Southside of anywhere and you've got Bernie Clarke & the Rhythm Sharks.  www.rsharks.com

August 29 Wednesday
Chris Terra & Blue Smoke

The Blue Smoke Blues Band has recorded two CDs of new material influenced not only by great artists like Stevie Vaughan and the Allman Brothers, but old school blues. Blue Smoke is best described as a true "working mans blues band."

An Evening with The Brakes
The Brakes are a genuine rock and roll band at first glance. However given a closer look, elements of folk, jazz and even post-rock reveal themselves, making their sound a distinct intertwining of American music, held together by insightful lyrics and memorable songs. Their musicality shines through as the members switch instruments, trading guitars, basses and keyboards for trumpets and saxophones.
