2011 West End Concert Calendar

Each year the West End Bar and Grille features some of the most exciting, free, live music at the Fair. Bands play on the sports deck behind the Cabana Bar each night of the Fair beginning at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at 9:30 p.m. when alcohol sales at the Fair end for the night. Come out and enjoy some great music, great beer and great food! The 2011 Lineup Is Our Best Ever!  See you at the Fair!

SARAH HORNER BAND
The Sarah Horner Band is one of the most refreshing acts to hit the scene! With their perfect pitch vocals, incredible playing abilities, and original songwriting, you won't be able to get them out of your head. Playing music from Pat Benetar, Bob Marley, Heart, and Carrie Underwood, it is amazing that such talent has crossed our paths! We welcome SHB to the West End for the first time!

SOUL RISIN

Soul Risin is the Syracuse-based blues-rock jam band attracting attention by awakening the souls of all of those experiencing their sound. Formed in 2006, the group brings together blues with classic rock, folk, R&B, reggae, and a touch of genuine soul. Soul Risin brings an energetic vibe and an ability to create rise from within that their listeners desire. The voyage has merely begun.

BRASS INC

The diverse playing styles and musical backgrounds of the members of Brass Inc offers an exciting and high energy performance by this eight piece band. Performing songs from driven, classic & southern rock, rhythm & blues, funk and today's top hits, this band willkeep you singing and dancing througout the night.

COLETTE & THE MUDCATS

Collette & The Mudcats is a power house rockin' blues band, with an authentic roadhouse sound. Offering a strong set list of contemporary, traditional, and swamp blues music, there's something for all blues lovers to enjoy. The musicians that comprise Collette & The Mudcats offer years of experience which collectively delivers a smooth performance.

THE HORN DOGS BAND

Horndogs is an exciting Funk/R&B/Blues band with a blazing five piece horn section, tight rythym players, and a super soulful vocalist. Great R&B and funk tunes from classic artists such as Tower of Power, EW&F, Average White Band, Bill Withers, and Joe Cocker.

ABOUT TIME BAND

AboutTime is a five piece band. Each member has been actively playing/singing in and outside of the Syracuse music circle for over twenty years. You will find that the variety we play is enjoyable, energetic, and pleasing. The song list includes easy listenng rock tunes from some of your favorite artists.

Flipside is a power trio featuring three lead singers featuring vocal harmonies. Offering a big sound for a small band, Flipside has been entertaining at Central New York clubs, weddings, bars, and parties since 2004. Flipside is a classic rock band that plays your favorites from international bands such as the Rolling Stones, The Who, The Eagles, Credence, John Cougar, Van Morrison, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many more! The Billionaires features a dynamic rhythm section and offers expertly performed R&B, soul, ballards, rock & roll, and standards choices. Featuring both female and male vocalists, this band is one of the most experienced in CNY. The Billionaires will entertain you with excellent sound, professional music, and a fantastic time for fair-goers of all ages!

The Critics offer both male and female lead singers, a sizzling horn section, and  an"I can feel it in my toes" rhythm section....a combination that is sure to bring any crowd to its feet! The critics play a wide variety of style; R&B, Rock n Roll, Soul, Reggae, Oldies, Pop, Standards. You name it...the Critics play it! And they bring huge energy, humor, and fun to every show!
